Photojournalist James Nachtwey ’70 has traveled the world documenting wars, natural disasters, and the human condition. The Hood Museum of Art has acquired his archive, which comprises more than half a million images, which Nachtwey hopes will help educate and inspire others. Here are just a few examples of his work.
