Design Corps Teams Tackle Dartmouth Projects

News subtitle

Students use human-centered design to help departments develop creative solutions.

Design Corps, a program of the Design Initiative at Dartmouth, has teams of students work with groups or departments around campus with challenges they may face.

Recent projects at DIAD, which was founded by Thayer School of Engineering, included helping the Hood Museum of Art and the Hopkins Center for the Arts increase student engagement.

Using human-centered design, the students get practice solving real-world problems.

And they can also have the satisfaction of making Dartmouth a better place.
