There will be no charge for most Dartmouth parking spaces through June, employees were told today in an email from COVID-19 task force co-chairs Lisa Adams, a physician and an associate professor of medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine, and Josh Keniston, vice president for institutional projects.

Beginning immediately, employees who remain working on campus may park in any Dartmouth parking lot except the Massachusetts and Dartmouth Row lots, where green permits are still required. (Reserved spaces in all lots are available only to the assigned department or individual.)

Payroll deductions for parking will be stopped and refunds will be issued to those who have pre-paid for parking. Parking fees are deducted from payroll the month following the activity, so employees will see a deduction in the first pay period of April for March fees.

Students who remain on campus should park in their assigned locations, without charge, through June. Transportation Services will refund those students who have pre-paid. Employees and students newly parking on campus from April through June, 2020, should still contact Transportation Services at transportation.services@dartmouth.edu in order to register their vehicle and receive a permit.
