As people throughout the nation celebrate the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 26 ruling that made same-sex marriage legal in every state, a Dartmouth alumnus says there is still work to be done, reports the Valley News.

“This is exciting and it gives us cause to celebrate, absolutely, but it’s important to remember that transgender rights, for example, are really far behind,” Jackson Shultz, MALS ’14, tells the newspaper.
