“Our brains have the flexibility to form new combinations of preexisting computations and deploy these computations rapidly and flexibly in new contexts,” says Associate Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences Thalia Wheatley in a Medical Daily story about what she calls the human brain’s talent for “evolutionary repurposing.”
