Every year, the College community gathers on the Green for the Dartmouth Night bonfire, kicking off Homecoming weekend.

In this video, students talk about the planning and hard work that go into constructing the enormous wooden edifice that illuminates the Green in the cherished tradition of the bonfire. “It ignites the year and it keeps us excited and keeps us moving forward,” says Hannah Mazonson ’18, a member of this year’s bonfire construction crew. The bonfire takes place tonight, Oct. 17, at 8:30.
