In a meeting this week with the editorial board of the Valley News, President Phil Hanlon ’77 talked about his plans for increasing experiential learning opportunities at Dartmouth, expanding Thayer School of Engineering, and hiring about 40 new faculty members, the Valley News writes.

President Hanlon discussed the ongoing work at the College to combat extreme and harmful behavior, which he said extends far beyond Dartmouth. He added that such behavior “is a concern of every parent sending a kid to college anywhere,” reports the newspaper.
