The undergraduate Class of 2014 hails from 49 states and the District of Columbia. The most-represented states are New York, California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
International students come from 43 countries. The most represented are Canada, the People's Republic of China, and the Republic of Korea.

The most popular majors are economics, psychological and brain sciences, government, engineering sciences, and history.
Valedictorians and Salutatorians:
The valedictorians are: Serena Liu of Bellevue, Wash., Jonathan Pedde of Regina, Sask., (Canada), Ethan Portnoy of Chappaqua, N.Y., Natalie Salmanowitz of Menlo Park, Calif., Ezra J. Toback of Westchester, N.Y. Each student earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Salmanowitz was selected by the faculty of the College of Arts & Sciences to deliver the Valedictory to the College at the ceremony.
The salutatorians are: Julia Lauren Berkowitz of Waban, Mass., Laura Cressman of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jake Stern Leichtling of San Francisco, Calif., Miriam Kilimo of Nairobi, Kenya, and Charles Dong of Madison, Wisc. Each student earned a 3.99 grade point average.
Phi Beta Kappa:
The Alpha of New Hampshire Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Dartmouth College will induct 102 undergraduates as new members in ceremonies to be held Saturday, June 7.
