Dartmouth’s William Kamkwamba ’14 joined other young entrepreneurs and former president Bill Clinton on a panel discussion about innovation at the Clinton Global Initiative University held at Washington University in St. Louis, reports ABC News via the Associated Press.

According to the AP, the panelists included Kamkwamba, founder of Moving Windmills; Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter; Zainab Salbi, founder of Women for Women International; and clothing designer Kenneth Cole.

At age 14, the article notes, Kamkwamba built an electricity-producing windmill to supply power to his home in Malawi. He is now collaborating with an organization in Malawi to build windmills and install solar panels at schools, the AP reports.
