With Tiny Cans, a New Trash Equation (The New York Times)

Dartmouth's tiny trash cans have been part of a recycling strategy that has resulted in 200 fewer tons of trash being sent to the landfill, and recycling going up by one third. Director of Sustainability Rosi Kerr ’97 told The New York Times that the point of the program is to get people to think about how much they’re throwing out, or “have a relationship with your trash.”
