Following his very public departure from hosting NBC’s Tonight Show in January 2010, Conan O’Brien hit the road with the 32-city “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour.”

Filmmaker Rodman Flender’s documentary of the tour, Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop, is an intimate portrait of comic who does not stop—performing, singing, pushing his staff and himself.
A special showing of the film will take place Friday, July 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Spaulding Auditorium at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. For tickets, visit the Hopkins Center website.In June 2011, O’Brien delivered a widely praised Commencement address at Dartmouth that was was a mix of humor—“it is great to be here in New Hampshire, where I am getting an honorary degree and all the legal fireworks I can fit in the trunk of my car”— and wisdom drawn from his experience reinventing his career after leaving The Tonight Show.
