Many Children Lack Doctors, Study Finds (AP)

Though there are enough children’s doctors in the United States, they work in the wrong places, a new study has found. The study’s lead author is Scott Shipman, assistant professor at Dartmouth Medical School and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. He said the focus should be on evening out the distribution of doctors rather than than on increasing the supply.
