Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Cleveland Clinic, Denver Health, Geisinger Health System, Intermountain Healthcare, and Mayo Clinic will join The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in sharing data on across a range of common conditions and treatments. The goals include determining best practices for care of these conditions and sharing their recommendations with health care providers across the U.S. The collaboration also plans to improve the efficiency of standard care to both reduce costs and keep them in pace with the consumer price index.

Through The Dartmouth Institute, the group will draw on the work of the Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science, established in May, 2010.
