Some of the top U.S. business schools have been teaming up with companies on programs in which students play the role of consultant—at little or no cost to the company. Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. sent Tuck School of Business students to Nicaragua, where they developed business strategies to improve coffee quality and production at the source.
