His guest list includes Bruce Rauner ’78, who is principal and chairman of GTCR Golder Rauner, a private equity investment firm based out of Chicago. Blanchflower is the holder of the Bruce V. Rauner endowed professorship at Dartmouth.
Blanchflower is also speaking with Alistair Darling, a British Labour Party politician who has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 1987 and served as the Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2007 to 2010. He played a key role in the rescue of several British banks including Northern Rock and Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds. He is currently Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Blanchflower is a labor economist who recently completed a three-year term as a member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee, which sets interest rates for the United Kingdom. He is also the economics columnist of the New Statesman and is a columnist at Bloomberg.
