Aine Donovan, executive director of Dartmouth’s Ethics Institute, has been named a Page Legacy Scholar for the 2010-2011 academic year, which includes a grant from the Arthur W. Page Center at Penn State to explore ethical issues in the Toyota recall. Donovan’s project, "Recalling Integrity," will explore why and when Toyota made the decision in May 2010 to recall potentially fatally flawed automobiles. The case study will serve as a base for Donovan’s business ethics courses at the Tuck School of Business, and will also be taught in other business ethics departments across the country. The Page Center awards grants to support scholars and professionals who make important contributions to knowledge, practice, or public understanding of ethics and responsibility in public communication or other principles of Arthur W. Page and Robert Wood Johnson.
