This year’s Sustainability and Social Justice theme is “Art and Activism.” Join us for an “Artists’ Talk” panel and FIVE WORKSHOPS led by artists who further sustainability and social justice through their work. The amazing artists include Dr. Craig Santos Perez, indigenous Pacific Islander poet and environmental justice activist; Ashia Ajani, environmental educator and storyteller; Aletta Brady and Kiana Michaan, storytellers from “Our Climate Voices”; Betty Kim ‘19, cartoonist and writer; and Ernesto Cuevas, muralist, educator, organizer, and community artist.

WORKSHOP: Workshops include TELLING YOUR CLIMATE STORY, a COLLECTIVE CREATIVE PRODUCTION lead by a muralist, a COMICS workshop lead by a cartoonist, and two POETRY workshops. The event is on Wednesday, May 12th, from 7:30-8:30. Registration will close at noon on Tuesday, May 11th.
