Abstract:  Tight bounds on the monogamous sharing of multipartite entanglement, despite their great value and interest, have proven challenging to develop analytically.  That complexity is greatly reduced, however, when those multipartite systems are constrained by some symmetry, which both narrows the Hilbert space and implicitly constrains the allowable entanglement.  This talk will demonstrate those reductions and the analytic results drawn from them in fully permutation-symmetric webs, translationally invariant rings, as well as a more generalized group theoretic treatment of symmetric entanglement.
