Born in Liberty City, Miami, Curiel is a Dominican-American performer with a thriving film and TV career. He has starred in America AdriftMonsters and MenNight Comes OnCritical Thinking and more. Best known for his role as "Lil Papi" on the Emmy-nominated FX drama Pose, Curiel charmed audiences as a young and earnest member of the House of Evangelista. Curiel discusses his experiences in the industry, acting as a craft and Afrolatinidad on screen and in American popular culture. Jordan McDonald '21, a cultural worker and essayist with writing in Huffington PostArtsyBitch MediaTeen Vogue and Film Cred, facilitates the conversation with questions from the Dartmouth community.
