A once-famous actress, her now disabled husband/former co-star, the writer of their greatest hits and their director-turned-weasel-hunter form an unusual family in a decaying mansion in the countryside outside of Buenos Aires. Their bickering and constant clashes are no different than the ones they once experienced on a movie set—but can their friendship withstand the threats posed by a scheming pair of young real estate investors? And what mysteries will the two millennials uncover as they entangle themselves in the fading stars' lives? Argentina, subtitled, 2020, 2h6m

Programmed as part of the Dickey Center for International Understanding's series of events that take us 'Round the Girdled Earth, with a focus this winter on Latin America. Make it a dinner-and-a-movie night and sign up for the Argentinian cooking class on Sat, Jan 30! Details announced soon.
