The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulates the interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas, and oil.  On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday December 14, 15, and 16, the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society will host its second FERC Bootcamp for students, led by FERC Branch Chiefs Jay Matson '91, and Nancy Bowler '82.

During this three-day online series, you'll:

  • Get an introduction to the electric utility industry
  • Learn about the ways that companies bend or break the rules
  • Play a simulation game where you'll build your own power plants and serve customers

The format will be a mixture of lecture, Q&A, and interactive activites and is geared toward undergraduate students.
