In this session, Peter Carini, College Archivist, and Morgan Swan, Special Collections Education and Outreach Librarian will model an active learning class session for participants that is based on previous successful Writing classes at Rauner Special Collections Library. Afterward, they will moderate a conversation about how the use of primary sources can improve students’ ability to think critically, evaluate and interpret information, and contextualize and create narratives from a wide variety of sources.
