What is MLDP?
The Management and Leadership Development Program (MLDP) is a one-term program designed to bring out your fullest leadership potential. Presented in a weekly workshop format, MLDP invites accomplished experts eager to engage with students and share the secrets of success. You will learn a mix of leadership theory and practical skills that you can practice right away to achieve your goals at Dartmouth and beyond.
In MLDP, you will;
- learn about your leadership strengths and how to leverage them,
- learn how to grow needed areas for maximum potential,
- learn to mobilize and lead a group,
- learn important technical skills applicable in any job field,
- meet accomplished alums,
- and get to know other rising leaders.
What does MLDP include?
- A choice between two sections on Tuesdays.
(4:30-6:30pm or 6:00-8:00pm) - A hands-on visit to a local business.
- Sessions that build self-awareness.
- A negotiation session led by a law professor.
- A public speaking session and practice.
- Free dinner with fun activities to build group cohesion.
