What is the Open Education Initiative and how you can get involved? Now in its second year, the Open Education Initiative seeks to reduce textbook costs and improve student learning by replacing expensive textbooks with open educational resources. We’ll talk about what open educational resources are and how the initiative is helping to bring them to Dartmouth classrooms. We’ll also hear about some of the open projects led by Dartmouth instructors in 2019. Finally, we’ll look at how to apply for funding and support from the initiative.
