The Puerto Rico Syllabus (#PRsyllabus) was launched in 2017 in order to create an accessible bilingual resource for understanding the historical context and multiple impacts of Puerto Rican debt crisis. In her talk, Professor LeBrón will discuss the history of the project and how the #PRsyllabus collective has worked to create a space for public pedagogy and praxis around the multiple crises confronting Puerto Rico. In addition to discussing the potential of digital public scholarship to create engaged intellectual communities, Professor LeBrón will also reflect on some of the professional and political challenges for engaged digital scholars. Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to RMS@Dartmouth.edu.
