The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) recently issued a consensus study report entitled Sexual Harassment of Women: Climate, Culture, and Consequences in Academic Science, Engineering, and Medicine.  The consensus report examines the prevalence, nature, and impact of sexual harassment in science, engineering, and medicine, and further offers evidence-based recommendations for colleges and universities to consider and apply to their own circumstances.  The Campus Climate and Culture Initiative (C3I) follows, and expands upon, the recommendations for institutions of higher education made in the NASEM report.

On January 13th and 14th 2020, Dr. Frazier Beny, Senior Program Officer with the Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics (CWSEM) at NASEM, Dr. Arielle Baker Gu '19, Associate Program Officer with CWSEM, and Dr. Lilia Cortina Professor of Psychology, Women's Studies and Management & Organizations at University of Michigan, will join us at Dartmouth to discuss the findings and recommendations included in the consensus report.
