On Thursday, January 30, Thayer School of Engineering Professor Mary Albert will discuss her ongoing research in Qaanaaq, Greenland. Professor Albert was recently awarded a $2.6 million grant from the National Science Foundation's Navigating the New Arctic program to help community members in this northern Greenland village transition to more affordable, sustainable energy.
