Jake Sullivan, former Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. State Department and senior policy advisor to the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign discusses impeachment, foreign policy, and the way forward in 2021.

Jake Sullivan is a Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He served in the Obama administration as national security adviser to Vice President Joe Biden and Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State, as well as deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.  He helped lead the secret diplomacy that paved the way for the Iran nuclear deal in 2015. During the winter term 2020, Jake will be the Dickey Center's Magro Family Distinguished Fellow in International Affairs.
