8:30 – 12:00 SBIR Introduction and Overview
This portion of the day covers:

- SBIR/STTR eligibility
- difference between SBIR and STTR
- key components of a competitive proposal

12:00 – 12:30 Lunch on your own – Byrne Dining Hall

12:30 – 2:30 Proposal Preparation Workshop
This portion of the day will provide instruction and overview on developing competitive proposals for participating agencies of the SBIR/STTR program.
Topics covered:

- Agency-specific SBIR/STTR programs
- Review criteria and writing to meet the reviewers’ expectations

2:30 – 4:30 One-on-One Meetings
These meetings provide researchers/faculty with an opportunity to talk with a consultant about their specific projects and ask SBIR/STTR-related questions in a private setting. They are typically set up as 30 minute-long sessions.

Please note: One-on-one meetings must be requested in advance, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
