As part of the Eric Eichler ’57 Foundations in Medicine and Humanities Seminar Series, Firdaus S. Dhabhar, PhD, D90, will share innovative knowledge of stress mechanisms, both the well-known harmful as well as beneficial, to transform medical practice & health care. Dhabhar was the 1st to discover mechanisms by which short-term stress physiology enhances the body's immune defenses to increase protection during a fight-or-flight response.
