This session will provide an overview of Alzheimer's disease, including statistics, signs and symptoms, disease course, the impact on the family, and treatment. It will also discuss some of the current research into diagnosis and treatment.
Robert B. Santulli MD is Honorary Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Prior to his retirement from clinical practice, he was Director of the Dartmouth Memory Clinic at DHMC. He currently teaches courses at Dartmouth College on dementia and on aging.
