While MI can inform the practices of many professional settings, it can sometimes feel challenging to intentionally incorporate these skills into our daily work. This training will focus on a coaching approach as a direct application of MI which can be utilized in a variety of interactions. The work of coaching involves partnering with others in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their potential. Infusing this approach with a strengths-based foundation and the skills of MI can facilitate meaningful, self-directed growth. This half-day training will offer a foundation for those wishing to build skills for working with strengths and empowering change. Lunch will be provided.
