Yet Brazil’s current far-right government believes that global warming is a conspiracy of the left. In her lecture, Eliane Brum will discuss how the Bolsonaro administration’s plans for the Amazon impact the planet and make it urgent to envisage an alternative future, grounded in the experiences of the people of the forest.
