Want to learn the basics of R?  "R" is an open-source programming language and environment for statistical calculations, data analysis, data visualization and much, much more.  Information, Technology and Consulting(ITC) presents an "Introduction to R" on Thursday, February 14th from 2pm - 3:30pm in the 37 Dewey Field Road Instructional Center, Room 101 (first floor) to learn more about R and R Studio.  Click the More Info link to sign up for this event.

We'll start with the basics of installing R and R Studio, and how they can be used for basic data statistics, data analysis and graphics.

We'll also show a list of commonly used R packages that greatly extend the basic functionality of R.  No prior experience with R or programming is necessary.
