A one day workshop facilitated by the IDRInstitute Director, Dr. Milton Bennett.  This workshop has been designed for faculty and administrators of study abroad and other international education programs who want to leverage cross-cultural contact into intercultural learning.  It will provide an overview of how to use “constructed observational categories” in pre-departure and on-site intercultural learning programs to make cultural difference more of a doorway than a window into the host culture.
