This is your chance to see Kelli O’Hara and Ken Watanabe in an exquisite revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic, which won four Tony Awards during its run at Lincoln Center before traveling across the pond—and now to cinemas worldwide.

With one of the finest scores ever written, including: “Whistle a Happy Tune,” “Getting to Know You,” and “Shall We Dance,” this ravishing production transports the audience to 1860s Bangkok, where sparks fly between the King of Siam (Watanabe) and Anna (O’Hara), the British schoolteacher he hires to teach his many wives and children.

From the New York Times: “Bartlett Sher is no strong-armed revisionist. He works from within vintage material, coaxing shadowy emotional depths to churn up a surface that might otherwise seem shiny and slick … More than any of the great golden-age musicals, The King and I revels in spectacle, but its most impressive achievement is how it balances epic sweep with intimate sensibility.”

Approx. runtime: 3h
