Dartmouth music instructor Haas, on tenor sax, leads a quartet of David Newsam, guitar, Dave Clark, bass, and Les Harris Jr., drums, to explore the music of Getz, one of the all-time great tenor saxophonists. Selections associated with Getz’s long career of bop, cool jazz, ballads and bossa nova include tunes from such timeless LPs are Stan Getz and the Oscar Peterson Trio and Getz/Gilberto as well as collaborations with Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Jimmy Raney and Gary Burton.
