With a career spanning 25 years, Ms. McDermott is an “A-list” soloist and chamber musician, including as an artist member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 1995. Critics praise her as “one of the great American pianists of her generation” (Philadelphia Inquirer) and “a pianist who balances qualities of excitement and spontaneity with clarity and elegance” (New York Times).
Ms. McDermott’s performance will feature Schubert’s Sonata in B Flat, D 960 along with the Bach/Busoni Chaconne, BMV 1004, Brahms’ Drei Intermezzi, Op. 117.
