Amro Farid

Associate Professor of Engineering at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and Adjunct Associate Professor of computer science. He leads the Laboratory for Intelligent Integrated Networks of Engineering Systems  (LIINES).  The laboratory maintains an active research program in Smart Power Grids, Energy-Water Nexus, Energy-Transportation Nexus, Industrial Energy Management & Demand Response, and Integrated Smart City Infrastructures.

Alexandra Klass

Distinguished McKnight University Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. She teaches and writes in the areas of energy law, natural resources law, environmental law, tort law, and property law. Her recent scholarly work, published in many of the nation’s leading law journals, addresses regulatory challenges to integrating more renewable energy into the nation’s electric transmission grid, siting and eminent domain issues surrounding interstate electric transmission lines and oil and gas pipelines, and applications of the public trust doctrine to modern environmental law challenges.

Anthony Giacomoni

Senior Market Strategist in the Emerging Markets department at PJM Interconnection in Audubon, PA.  In his current role, he conducts research and analysis relating to electricity markets and emerging issues in the energy industry.  Previously, he was a Senior Engineer in the Resource Adequacy Department at ISO New England.  From 2012-2016 he was a Market Analyst in the Market Monitoring Department at ISO New England where he helped ensure the competitiveness of the wholesale electricity markets for the New England region.
