Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman plays real-life superhero Thurgood Marshall, the civil rights lawyer who became the first African American Supreme Court justice. This taut courtroom drama looks at an early case in Marshall’s career, a decade before Brown v. Board of Education. With the help of Sam Friedman (Josh Gad), a young lawyer with no experience in criminal law, Marshall takes on the case of black chauffeur Joseph Spell (Sterling K.
