Objectives – Participants will be able to:

 

  1. Recognize the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease and its future projector
  2. Discuss the state of the health care system, particularly with reference to its impact on care delivery and outcomes
  3. Describe the challenges and threats facing academic medical centers and consider solutions via the “Academic Medical System” and the example of cardiovascular care.
