Join energy experts Alexandra Klass, Distinguished McKnight University Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, and Elizabeth Wilson, Director of the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society and Professor of Environmental Studies at Dartmouth, for a presentation followed by discussion on the pertinent question "Can energy use data reduce electricity costs and environmental impacts? "   State and local governments and electricity users want to improve the efficiency of their buildings, homes and vehicles, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. However, access to actionable electricity consumption and other energy-related data is challenging due to current law, practices by electrical utility companies, technical challenges, and privacy concerns.  Learn how energy consumption data can inform decisions that drive reductions in electricity costs and environmental impacts at all levels, and what can be done to lower the barriers to access to this data.
