U.S. Export Control Laws restrict the distribution of strategically important technology, services and information to foreign nationals and foreign countries for reasons of foreign policy and national security. Researchers can inadvertently trip up against export controls if certain steps are not taken.

The seminar will help identify and appropriately respond to any relevant exports control matters related to research. It will also cover more general areas such as travel abroad with data and materials, shipments of materials etc.
