Patrick Glauthier is Lecturer in Classical Studies at University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on Latin didactic poetry, ancient literary criticism, and Rome’s cultural and intellectual history, with a particular interest in constructions and representations of the natural world. His current book project is called The Scientific Sublime in Imperial Rome: Manilius, Seneca, Lucan, and the Etna.
