“The most extraordinary, riveting, uncanny performance
of Schubert’s great song-cycle I have ever witnessed.”
The Telegraph (UK)

Schubert  Winterreise

World-renowned British tenor Bostridge thoroughly inhabits the 24 songs in Schubert’s mercurial, picaresque cycle Winterreise, a towering masterpiece of musical storytelling. Author of an acclaimed recent book about Winterreise, Bostridge is brilliantly supported by Adès—a famed composer when not performing with his friend and countryman. Together they bring vibrant color and tone, light and shadow, to these poignant episodes in a lovelorn man’s “winter journey.”
