Clostridium XIV
International Conference on the Genetics, Physiology and Synthetic Biology of Solvent- and Acid-forming Clostridia
August 29-31, 2016
Hanover, New Hampshire, USA
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Clostridium XIV organizing committee, you are warmly invited to attend the 14th International Conference on the Genetics, Physiology and Synthetic Biology of Solvent- and Acid-forming Clostridia, to be held at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire USA.
Whilst certain Clostridium species have achieved notoriety as human and animal pathogens, the vast majority of the genus is entirely benign and produces all manner of useful chemicals and fuels from renewable sources. The “Clostridium” conferences focus on those clostridial species that are of benefit to humankind, including topics of interest to academia and industry alike. Described in more detail elsewhere (http://www.clostridia.net/Clostridium.htm), these conferences have been held every 2 years since their inception in 1990 and are the leading international forum for presentation and discussion of new findings and developments in the field.
We request that you put the dates (August 29 to 31, 2016) in your diaries and keep an eye on announcements of further details of the conference at http://www.clostridia.net.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Hanover next year!
Sincerely,
Organizing Committee
