Started in 1997 by Julia and her husband, Dan Carr, they have since become widely known for their work in printing and binding fine hand made books. Dan, who passed away two years ago, created two new metal typefaces named Regulus and Parmenides. He cut the punches for the designs and cast the type as well. Julie continues their publishing wing Trois Fontaines, teaching and bookbinding. She will give us a tour of their printing operation located in an old mill building, show us the work they have done over the years and even get us printing.
