Ken Burns brings to Dartmouth another special advance screening from his Roosevelts series. Episode Five (spanning 1933-39) follows FDR as he enlarges the US government in an effort to end the Great Depression. As German aggression threatens Europe, FDR faces a country unwilling to enter another potential world war. Meanwhile, a reluctant First Lady (voiced by Meryl Streep) finds meaning in advocacy. Edward Herrmann, two-time Emmy nominee for his performance as FDR, reprises that role. D: Ken Burns, US, 2013, 113m
