May 1, 2014 marked 50 years since Dartmouth Mathematics Professors John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz made computing history when they successfully launched the BASIC computer language for the first time, which went on to become the most widely used computer language in the world. The documentary, "The History of BASIC," was created as part of the College 50th anniversary celebration held on April 30, 2014. For those who missed it or were turned away because the venue was at capacity, please join us for another showing of this inspiring (and surprisingly funny) story.
