LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs will give a free presentation in the Bentley at 7 PM on April 18.  Ms. Diggs is an interdisciplinary poet and sound artist, combining digitally manipulated sound, spoken word, vocal improvisation and video in her performance. Using multiple languages, vernaculars, and code-switching, Diggs's work is an experimental investigation into language and the voice that makes hybrid and intertwining linguistic and cultural spaces visible. This event is sponsored by the Theater Department's VOICES program and the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center.

Ms. Diggs will be reading excerpts from her 2013 poetry collection, TwERK.
